From the Founder
The healthcare industry operates in a mission critical environment with very little to no room for mistakes. Regulatory and market pressures are forcing payers and providers to innovate and think outside the box. The traditional way of doing business is not an option anymore, especially if you are looking to survive and compete. Payers and providers have been resorting to information technology for decades as one trusted vehicle for cost control, efficiency and competitive advantage. The HITECH and the Affordable Care Act have added one more reason to that list: compliance!
Technology implementation is not a core competency for health payers and providers, despite the army of IT resources that some of the large players have managed to acquire throughout the years. At the end of the day Providers should focus on providing care and Payers should focus on reimbursement, eligibility and medical management.
- Can you afford to experiment with new technology or systems integration?
- Do you trust that your technology vendor will keep your business and bottom line as a priority?
- Can you afford penalties from state or federal regulators for being late or non-compliant?
Millions of dollars have been wasted on failed implementations or poor choice oo technology solutions. Why be another victim of poor planning or inadequate expertise. Talk to us now, we might be able to help.
